Gas Metering Device for Oil and Gas Wells

Overview

The gas metering device for oil and gas wells (hereinafter referred to as the device) is a device for gas separation and measurement of oil well output. It is applicable to the oil and gas wells with large-capacity high-pressure. The device is installed in front of the buffer tank of the oil and gas well. After effectively separating the gas and liquid from the oil well, it measures the gas and liquid after the separation, and then the gas and liquid are mixed or respectively input into the buffer tank. The device increases the pump filling coefficient while reducing the effect of the gas return pump caused by wellhead backpressure, and further reduces the impact of slug flow and mist flow on buffer tank, and substantially increases the operation efficiency and service life of buffer tank. The device has a series of advantage, such as simple structure, convenient operation, no manual adjustment required, evident separation effect, accurate measurement, etc. Furthermore, the equipped PLC intelligent control system in the device enables real time acquisition, analysis and display of various production parameters. It can accurately, timely and comprehensively reflect the production and operation conditions, make accurate judgment and timely handling of anomalies in operation, so the level of automation of oil field work can be improved.
