    Product Overview

    The vortex flowmeter is a new type of intelligent flow instrument developed using the Karman vortex street principle and electromagnetic induction principle, as well as digital signal processing technology. This product features high sensitivity and low power consumption and can be widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, brewing, dyeing and finishing, medicine, food, and environmental protection.

    Working Principle

    The vortex flowmeter is designed based on Karman vortex street and electromagnetic induction principles. When the fluid medium flows past the trapezoidal vortex generator, two rows of regularly arranged vortices will be alternately released from its downstream sides. Within a certain velocity range, the vortex shedding frequency is directly proportional to the mean flow velocity.

    Equipment Composition

    The vortex flowmeter consists of two parts: a sensor and a converter. It integrates flow measurement and local display and is equipped with a variety of standard external signal output interfaces.
