Electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquid and liquid-solid two-phase fluid flowing through closed pipes continuously or intermittently. Its measurement accuracy is not affected by the temperature, density, viscosity and conductivity (> 5us / cm) of the measured medium. The flow rate of various corrosive liquids and strongly worn slurry can be measured by selecting suitable electrode materials and lining materials. The product is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, pharmaceutical, paper, power and environmental protection fields.
The measurement principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction (see Figure). An alternating external magnetic field is set outside the measuring tube of the sensor, and a pair of motors are installed on both sides of the vertical direction of the magnetic line of force. When the conductive medium flows through the measuring tube to cut the magnetic line of force, the induced electromotive force E is generated on the motor.
