    Product Overview

A temperature transmitter is an instrument that digitizes temperature sensory values into standardized output signals for transmission and analysis. It is mainly used for the measurement and control of temperature parameters in industrial processes. The product is widely used in on-site temperature control processes in industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, textile, rubber, building materials, power, metallurgy, medicine, and food. It is especially suitable for computer-based control systems and can also be used in conjunction with other instruments.

    Working Principle

The temperature transmitter uses thermocouples or resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) as temperature-sensing elements. The thermocouple or RTD sensor converts the measured temperature into an electrical signal, which is then sent to the transmitter's input network. This network includes zero-adjustment and thermocouple compensation circuits, and others. After zero adjustment, the signal is input into an operational amplifier for signal amplification. The amplified signal is split into two paths: one path goes through a V/I converter for calculation and processing, resulting in output signals such as 420mA current, 05V/010V voltage, or RS-485 digital signal. The other path is processed by an A/D converter and then connected to a secondary instrument, which displays the corresponding temperature.

    Product Classification

Classified by signal transmission methods, temperature transmitters can be divided into two types: wired or wireless temperature transmitters. The wireless temperature transmitter consists of a temperature sensor, signal processing circuit, communication module, and power module. It is powered by a high-capacity, high-energy lithium battery and transmits data via radio frequency (RF) wireless communication. The instrument is easy to install and use, eliminating the need for on-site wiring. This avoids the hassle of laying cables and building supports as required by conventional instruments, thus saving labor and construction costs.
