- Commodity name: Pressure Transmitter
Product Overview
The pressure transmitter uses high-quality diffused silicon or ceramic core as the signal measuring element. The sensor signal is processed and converted into a standard output signal through a dedicated signal processing circuit. It can replace traditional pressure gauges, Hall elements, and differential transmitters. It can be directly connected to computers, control instruments, and display instruments with stable and reliable overall performance, and is capable of long-distance signal transmission. It features industrial explosion-proof housing and a digital compensation circuit, making it small, lightweight, and very versatile.
Working Principle
The medium pressure acts directly on the surface of the measuring diaphragm of the pressure transmitter, causing a slight deformation of the diaphragm. The high-precision circuit on the measuring diaphragm converts this slight deformation into a voltage signal proportional to the pressure. Then, a dedicated chip converts this voltage signal into an industrial standard 4 to 20 mA current signal or a 1 to 5V voltage signal. After being amplified and compensated for by a linear amplification circuit, the signal enters a microprocessor for data measurement, processing, and display. The measured data is then delivered to remote terminal devices via wired or wireless transmission.
Product Classification
Pressure transmitters can be categorized into either wired or wireless models. The wireless pressure transmitter consists of a pressure sensor, signal processing circuit, communication module, and power module. It is powered by a high-capacity, high-energy lithium battery and transmits data via radio frequency (RF) wireless communication. It can combine various sensors and transmitters to form measurement and control systems for different ranges and specifications. The instrument is easy to install and use without the need for on-site wiring. This avoids the hassle of laying cables and building supports as required by conventional instruments, thus saving labor and construction costs. It is especially suitable for places where wiring is difficult or the power supply is unavailable, making it an ideal upgrade and replacement for traditional pressure transmitters. The wireless pressure transmitter integrates low-power wireless communication, high-sensitivity force sensors, low-power microcontrollers, and explosion-proof technology. With its high precision, easy installation, convenient maintenance, high reliability, and durability in harsh environments, it has been widely used in many industries such as power, metallurgy, chemical engineering, petrochemicals, papermaking and dyeing, brewing, and tobacco.
